The Finance Department at Midvale City is instrumental in the prudent management of the city's budget, financial assets, and resources. Their responsibilities encompass providing policy direction that aligns with the City Council's objectives and adhering to relevant laws and established financial management principles to ensure the city's fiscal well-being.

Purchasing
Midvale City adheres to a strict procurement policy that fully complies with the laws of the State of Utah, as well as the policies and ordinances established by our city.

Midvale City partners with the State of Utah and SciQuest to post all requests for bids (RFBs), proposals (RFPs), and qualifications (RFQs). This is a free service. Vendors should create an account by going to the State of Utah Purchasing page or clicking on the following link for the Supplier Portal. If you are new to SciQuest, you will need to create an account.

Midvale City utilizes Public Surplus to efficiently auction surplus items, including computers, furniture, and more
