Mountain Corridor BrochureMidvale defines location, location, location.  It’s within the name. The central location within the Salt Lake Metropolitan area, the unparalleled access to regional transportation networks and the Wasatch Mountains featuring all four mountain resorts for Ski City serve opportunity to Midvale within the overall regional tourism sector.

The Midvale Fort Union Mountain/Ski Corridor last year had some 1,653 Ski City Super Passes sold through our motels. These Super Passes provide direct to lift access to the four mountain resorts featured in Ski City campaign:  Alta, Brighton, Solitude, and Snowbird.  It provides freedom to ski any one of the four resorts and includes an all-day UTA pass for ski buses and TRAX light rail with service to SLC Airport.  So the thousands of people who come and visit can take advantage of this value and enjoy great valley access to mountains.

As one of eight featured neighborhoods in the Ski City campaign, Midvale has identified participating lodging options with some 1053 rooms along the corridor all with direct ski bus access up Fort Union Blvd (7200 South).

We have a great story to tell.  Visit Midvale and promote our historic sights and attractions, arts and culture, dining, nightlife, shopping, and character with visitors.  It’s one that keeps expanding and evolving.  The choices are expanding, offering more and more venues for after hours, dinner, entertainment, lodging, and recreation after visiting the resorts. Experience skiing all day and hitting golf balls into the night at TopGolf.

As tourism expands and the mountain visits grow, the demand for additional base services and rooms rises.  Hence, the objective of the Ski City USA campaign is to focus in on the various options offered in Salt Lake Valley after the lifts close.  Our location, with close access to all four resorts provides great options and access.

The specific sites through Ski City USA and our Ski Corridor offer links into many of the businesses for electronic access and your specific webpage.  Once there, future customers can review menus, check availability, convey interest and make reservations.
