 The public is invited to attend a public hearing before the Midvale City Planning Commission on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 7:00 pm in the Midvale City Council Chambers located at 655 West Center Street, Midvale, Utah.  The Planning Commission will be considering an amendment to the Small Scale Master Plan and Preliminary Subdivision Plat for the Riverwalk East Residential Development (formerly The Gables @ Riverwalk) located at 838 W. River Gate Drive (Lot 3B Riverwalk at Bingham Junction Subdivision).  This request is being made by Nate Shipp.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE COLLECTION & DISPOSAL

Sealed Proposals for the collection and disposal of residential solid waste are being solicited by and shall be delivered to Midvale City.

The Midvale City Recorder will receive sealed responses until 2:00 PM, on March 11, 2010, at 655 West Center Street, Midvale, UT 84047. Responses received after this time will not be accepted. Firms shall submit three (3) proposal copies.

Copies of the RFP Documents may be obtained from the Public Works Department, 8197 South Main Street, Midvale, UT 84047 at no cost beginning Monday, March 1, 2010 at 7:00 a.m. The City is not responsible for expenses incurred prior to award by the City Council. Midvale City reserves the right to reject any and all responses and to waive any irregularities or informalities.

A proposal bond must accompany the Proposal in accordance with the Instructions to Proposers.

MIDVALE CITY REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PARK, OPEN SPACE, AND PARKSTRIP MAINTENANCE

Sealed Proposals for the maintenance of parks, open space, and parkstrips are being solicited by and shall be delivered to Midvale City.

The Midvale City Recorder will receive sealed responses until 2:00 PM, on March 16, 2010, at 655 West Center Street, Midvale, UT 84047. Responses received after this time will not be accepted. Firms shall submit three (3) proposal copies.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Midvale City Public Works building located at 8196 South Main Street, Midvale, Utah.

A proposal bond in the amount of 5% of the bid, must accompany the Proposal in accordance with the Instructions to Proposers.
