Midvale Arts Council

Midvale Arts Council LogoArt and culture play significant roles in educating our community, fostering creativity, and providing a sense of purpose in our lives. For more than three decades, the Midvale Arts Council (MAC) has been a steadfast presence, driven by dedicated volunteers who generously donate their time and resources to fulfill the MAC's mission.

In 1985, Midvale City officially established the MAC through a resolution, recognizing its crucial role in promoting the arts and preserving the city's rich cultural heritage. Art and culture offer individuals a platform for self-expression and a means to navigate personal changes and challenges. The MAC is committed to cultivating community pride and hope by showcasing local talent and offering free public concerts and discounted theatrical productions, thereby making the arts accessible to all.

The Midvale Arts Council takes great pride in its collaborative efforts with esteemed production companies such as QuickWits Improv Comedy, Titus Productions, and West Jordan Arts. These partnerships bring together a wealth of creative talent and resources to craft extraordinary theatrical experiences for our community. This synergy of dedication and skill unites some of Utah's most talented actors and stage crew members. They strive to craft enduring memories, cultivate artistic expression, and offer a platform for the exceptional talents that Utah has to offer.

It boasts a permanent seating capacity of 110, and there's a raised floor at the back of the auditorium for overflow seating and sound/lighting equipment setup.
