 PUBLIC UTILITIES TECH I

Midvale City is accepting applications for a full-time position as a Public Utilities Tech I in the Public Utilities Division. This position performs a variety of semi-skilled duties related to the construction, maintenance, and repair of the City water and sewer systems.

Minimum Qualifications: One year experience as a laborer. Must possess a valid Utah CDL; class B with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within six (6) months. Must be able to obtain Grade I Operator Certification in Water Distribution and Sewage Collections within one year of hire. Must possess a home telephone for emergency and stand-by call-out and live within 20 miles of the Public Works Facility located at 8196 South Main Street (700 West), Midvale.
